Parapet Link · Pro · Revit 2020-2027

Your spreadsheet is the
source of truth. Finally.

Link an Excel workbook, a CSV file or a Google Sheet to the model. Preview it, map columns to parameters, validate every row, then push - or export and round-trip edits back in.

From $8.25/month billed yearly · 2 computers · all Revit versions

How it works

Nothing is written to the model until you've seen exactly what will change.

1

Pick a source

Excel (.xlsx), CSV, or sign in to Google and choose a Sheet. Re-link later in one click.

2

Preview & map

One setup popover: sheet, Revit category, key column ↔ parameter (Element ID, Mark, Number…). Columns are matched to parameters automatically; adjust them in the Mapping tab.

3

Validate

A real dry run: every row is matched to its element, every mapped cell is checked - missing elements, ambiguous keys, read-only parameters, numbers and units. Insight cards show what to fix.

4

Push, pull or export

Push writes only the cells that differ, in one transaction you can undo. Pull sends Revit values back to the sheet; Export writes a fresh workbook per category.

Spreadsheet rows flow through Parapet Link - preview, map, validate - into Revit parameters, and back out. Spreadsheet → preview, map, validate → Revit. The bad cell never reaches the model.

Questions

Can I import Excel into Revit without an add-in?

Only indirectly - paste into a schedule or write a Dynamo graph. Revit has no native import of parameters from Excel.

Does Parapet Link work with Google Sheets?

Yes. Sign in with your Google account; any sheet you can open can be linked and re-linked to pull the latest rows.

What happens to rows whose element is not in the model?

They are flagged in validation and skipped; the log lists every skipped row.

How much does Parapet Link cost?

$12/month or $99/year after a 30-day free trial with no card; 2 computers per subscription.
