Color by parameter,
with a legend, in one click.

“Show me the rooms by department.” “Which doors are 90-minute?” “What's still on Workset1?” Revit can answer all of these - slowly. Here is the fast version.

A floor plan colored by a parameter value - department - with an automatic legend, produced by one Parapet Hub action instead of a filter per value. PLAN · Color by parameter → Department AdminAdminLabLabWardCirculationWard LEGEND · auto-generated Admin24 rooms Lab31 rooms Ward58 rooms Circulation19 rooms ⚠ 6 rooms have no Department One action, any parameter, any category. "Reset overrides" puts the view back.

Filters are the right tool for a documented standard you print. For “let me look at this for five minutes”, they are too much ceremony - and everyone forgets to delete them.

With Parapet Hub

Pick elements - a category, a type, or whatever is selected in the view.
Color by parameter value. Choose any instance or type parameter; Hub assigns a distinct color per value.
Read the legend. Values, colors, counts - and a warning line for elements with no value, which are usually the bug you were looking for.
Reset overrides when you are done. Nothing is left behind in the view.
